NON-SURGICAL Treatment for Knee Damages
In 2016, Madam Fatemah A Alabdulhadi, a 78 year old Kuwaiti female, with Diabetes Mellitus (Type-2) went for Stem Cell Therapy due to her diabetic condition. The patient also suffered from Osteoarthritis (OA) Stage-4 in both knees. While she had undergone Total Knee Replacement (TKR) for her right knee in 2014, she deferred her TKR procedure in 2016 for her left knee, and instead underwent Stem Cell Therapy, with the following results;-
- Diabetes was cured (HbA1c below 7).
- Her left knee Osteoarthritis pain disappeared, 3 weeks after stem cells infusion.
- Her osteopenia (low bone density) improved significantly.
She was able to ‘immediately’ have pain-free use of her left leg (with normal walking gait), without any need for rehabilitation. Her left knee today is able to bend normally and give better support for her weight and she can carry on with her daily activities.
